Scattered throughout the CBD over three locations, Upstanding Citizens is an oasis and an escape for people who are serious about outstanding coffee. Focused on delivering specialty coffee with the highest standard of service, we are the first stop and the main highlight of our customer’s morning ritual.
We are looking for a vibrant, energetic, and friendly Barista who is not only passionate about delivering outstanding coffee, but also loves engaging with people and is keen to join a fun and bubbly team in a beautiful espresso bar.
If you are a Superstar Barista who is passionate about delivering the highest standard of cup in the fastest time possible with the biggest smile you can muster, and you appreciate professionalism, teamwork, and you love coming to a fast‑paced and thriving work environment – then we have the job for you!
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate:- Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a full‑time Barista
- Good working knowledge of coffee making techniques, including dial‑in
- Solid experience in high volume (but also high standards) coffee
- Ability to maintain extremely high standards under pressure
- Well presented and friendly demeanor
- Strong teamwork and effective communication skills
- Confidence and fluency in spoken English
