Join Grids & Co' as a barista / all rounder in our casual café located in Keswick SA
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing high-quality coffee and beverages for our guests.
As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will play a vital part in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all who visit our café.
What you'll be doing- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to customers
- Operate the cash register and handle cash and card transactions
- Restock and maintain the cleanliness of the coffee station and café area
- Assist the kitchen team with food preparation and service as needed
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to all guests
- Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere and efficient operation of the café
- Availability Monday to Friday approximately 28 to 32 hours per week.
- Between 7.00am & 3.30pm
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry
- Strong barista is not required but a basic understanding is.
- Strong knowledge of coffee-making and the ability to prepare high-quality beverages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the unique needs and preferences of our café
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Work independently occasionally opening & closing the business
