Your RoleAs a Barista at 28 Mason, you’ll be the heart of our café — crafting great coffee, connecting with customers, and helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere we’re known for.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee, teas, and specialty drinks
- Maintain consistency and attention to detail in every cup
- Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly, efficient service
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and POS systems confidentlyKeep the coffee station and café area clean, stocked, and organized
- Assist with food preparation and service when needed
- Support the team with opening and closing duties
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices
- Previous barista or café experience (preferred, but training provided for the right person)
- A passion for coffee and genuine love for customer service
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays
