Assistant Sales Manager – Weddings and Events (Full-Time)

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and send quotes, follow up on enquiries, and convert wedding and event leads.
  • Manage the effective coordination & execution of weddings, events and meetings, using technology and straightforward thinking.
  • Generate and manage Banquet Event Orders for upcoming weddings and events, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
  • Coordinate on‑day wedding setups with the Banquet Operations team, with flexibility to work weekends as required to support event delivery.
  • Implement targeted sales strategies to meet revenue goals and KPIs across weddings, social events, and the broader events portfolio.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by conducting personalized site visits and building lasting relationships with clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and complete required managerial tasks promptly and thoroughly.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in event sales and planning role preferred.
  • Hotel industry experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Working rights in Australia.
  • Enthusiasm to advance your career.
  • Impeccable communication across all levels and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, teamwork, customer service, and relationship management skills.
  • Self‑motivated, driven and energetic in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Can‑do attitude and smart problem‑solving.
