We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Zam fam at our Cronulla restaurant!

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in the food service or hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures is an advantage.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high‑quality standards.
  • Enthusiasm for food, customer service, and Zambrero’s mission.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative.
  • Availability to work full‑time on a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable).
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Prepare and serve food items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Engage with customers to provide information about our menu, the “Plate 4 Plate” initiative, and other store offerings.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
  • Monitor and restock inventory as needed, ensuring adequate supplies for daily operations.
  • Accurately process transactions, handle cash and operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
  • Support new team members through training and mentorship.
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimise waste.
