Role OverviewBarista who is also an All‑Rounder. Fast‑paced, good with remembering names and orders of lots of regulars. Knows opening and closing procedures. Good behind a La Morzocco, preparing and serving high‑quality coffee. Must be able to make toasties, smoothies, juices, etc., and independently manage all other general FOH and Barista duties. Bring a happy, vibrant personality with speed and accuracy behind the machine.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the cook in cooking and baking light café food – muffins, salads, sandwiches, pasta, and other baked goods, and assisting in making toasties.
Working HoursMonday to Saturday, varying from opening at 5:45 am until close at 3:15 pm.
Responsibilities- Fast and accurate in busy times
- Multitask while working alone and as part of the team efficiently
- Manage all other general FOH and barista duties independently
- Support cook in light kitchen duties and baking
- Flexible hours available
- Minimum 3 years in the Australian café scene, using a La Morzocco coffee machine or similar (2–3 years of relevant work experience)
- Expected salary: $35 per hour
- Correct award rate level 2 paid weekly with super
- Grinder adjustment proficiency
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Good memory for names/orders of regular customers
