We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Part-Time Customer Service Officer to join the Cargo Team to provide our client airline customers with the best possible experience.

Our core services include aircraft ground services, executive services, cargo and aircraft fueling.

What you’ll be doing
  • Process documentation for both Import and Export shipments
  • Process financial transactions – operate register and EFT facilities
  • Accept and release valuable cargo manually from customer service desk (can require some heavy lifting)
  • Receive incoming calls. Response to customer service issues or transfer calls.
  • Resolve operational issues
  • Make outgoing calls to agents and consignees.
  • Provide updates of Cargo Movement status, both Air and Road movements
  • Accept internal deliveries (manual handling required– maximum 10kg per piece)
  • Filing and Archiving paperwork
  • Oversee Quarantine Inspections.
  • Incident reporting and investigation
What we need from you
  • Must be reliable and motivated to work
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment and ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Applicants with experience in providing outstanding Customer Service
  • Ability to work in a team or autonomously
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Motivation and flexibility to work on a 7-day rotational shift roster
  • Applicants will be required to undergo a Police check, Airport security check and pre-employment medical as part of the standard conditions of employment
