Role Description

This is a Full-time on-site Co-founder role for a Sommelier based in Melbourne, VIC.

Responsibilities

• Curate wine lists
• Manage wine service
• Pair wines with menu items
• Assist guests in wine selection
• Conduct wine tastings
• Provide educational experiences about wine
• Collaborate with the food and beverage team to ensure an excellent dining experience for guests

Qualifications

• Expertise in Wine Pairing and Sommelier practices
• Proven experience in Wine Sales and delivering exceptional customer service
• Knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry and dining trends
• Strong Communication skills for effectively engaging with guests and team members
• Certification or relevant training in sommelier practices is preferred
• Passion for wine and hospitality with a detail-oriented and team-focused approach
