We are seeking an Experienced Pastry Chef to join our dedicated gluten free bakery full time in Perth. This role is ideal for a highly skilled pastry professional with a strong eye for decoration and presentation, and an enterprising mindset to help drive creativity and growth within a specialist gluten free environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for producing high-quality gluten free pastries, cakes, and desserts, with a strong emphasis on creative and consistent decoration. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who takes pride in their craft, has advanced decorating skills, enjoys taking initiative, and is motivated to contribute ideas and improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, bake and decorate gluten free cakes, pastries, and desserts to a high professional standard
  • Ensure strict adherence to gluten free processes and prevent cross-contamination
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail in all finished products
  • Contribute new ideas for designs, products, and seasonal offerings
  • Manage preparation, baking schedules, and workflow efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation
  • Work collaboratively with the team while also being proactive and self-directed
About You
  • Highly Experienced Pastry Chef with proven industry experience
  • Strong decorating and finishing skills, particularly for cakes and detailed work
  • Experience with gluten free baking preferred (or a strong willingness to learn)
  • Creative, enterprising, and motivated to take initiative
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about pastry and presentation
  • Full working rights in Australia
