Panache Hotel Group (PHG) is a dynamic and rapidly expanding hotel management company specialising in short-term accommodations, hotels, and independent serviced apartments. With headquarters in Western Australia, PHG currently operates five distinguished hotels in Perth and Melbourne.

We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Hotel Manager to lead operations at Peppers Docklands Hotel in Melbourne. This full-time leadership role offers a unique opportunity for career progression, and this role requires to oversee and monitor the other hotels operation performance in Melbourne. The successful candidate preferably to be fluent in Mandarin, as this is essential to meet the communication needs of our owners and guests.

About the Role

As Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations at Peppers Docklands Hotel, ensuring high standards of guest experience, team performance, financial management, and compliance. You will play a key role in driving the hotel's success while aligning with PHG’s long-term strategic goals in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of Peppers Docklands Hotel & Melbourne City Suites. Overlook and provide assistance to Mantra 100 Exhibition Hotel team.

Drive service quality, guest satisfaction, and team engagement

Monitor hotel performance, budget targets, and cost control

Implement policies, procedures, and compliance standards

Liaise with departments including housekeeping, maintenance, front office, and finance

Collaborate closely with the Executive Team

Mentor and develop staff to support PHG's growing VIC presence

Contribute to special projects and new initiatives within the VIC hotel cluster

Requirements

Proven experience in hotel management or senior hospitality leadership

Strong business acumen with a hands‑on leadership style

Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills

Experience with Opera Cloud or Newbook PMS is a strong advantage

Ability to multitask and lead in a fast‑paced environment

Commitment to long‑term growth and career development within PHG

Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential to effectively communicate with our Mandarin‑speaking owners, guests, and business partners.
