Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee operations and maintain the highest standards in beverage quality and customer experience. The successful candidate will oversee daily barista operations, train team members, and ensure consistency in coffee preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily café bar operations and ensure smooth workflow.
Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and specialty drinks.
Maintain consistency in coffee brewing, latte art, and beverage presentation.
Train, mentor, and supervise junior baristas.
Manage coffee bean inventory, equipment maintenance, and stock ordering.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and operational standards.
Develop seasonal beverage menus and contribute creative drink ideas.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming café environment.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a barista , with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role .
Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art .
Experience with coffee grinders, espresso machines, and brewing methods .
Leadership skills with the ability to train and guide a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
Specialty coffee training or certification is an advantage.
Experience managing café operations or beverage menu development.
