Executive Chef vacancy in Ras-al-Khaimah UAE
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah. This is a full-time position with potential for growth and advancement. Salary: 1400 AED/month.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as an Executive Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen
- Excellent knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Good knowledge of various food cultures and different types of cuisine
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to lead with a positive attitude and motivate the kitchen staff
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good verbal communication skills in English or Arabic
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Create menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
- Plan orders of ingredients according to identified shortages/surpluses in stock levels
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen staff (e.g. hiring new staff, scheduling shifts)
- Establish portion sizes and prepare all menu items according to set recipes
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as necessary
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is well maintained and safe for use
- Oversee the quality of dishes before they are served
- Analyze customer feedback to improve recipes or create new ones
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations within the kitchen area
