Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all coffee-related operations across outlets, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
- Develop and maintain beverage menus, including espresso-based drinks, manual brew, and seasonal offerings
- Source, evaluate, and select coffee beans in collaboration with suppliers and roasters
- Establish and enforce SOPs for coffee preparation, machine calibration, and workflow efficiency
- Train, mentor, and certify baristas to ensure high performance and service standards
- Conduct regular quality control checks, including taste profiling and brewing adjustments
- Manage coffee equipment maintenance, inventory control, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with marketing and branding teams on coffee-related campaigns and product launches
- Stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and global coffee standards
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in specialty coffee, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of coffee extraction, latte art, manual brewing methods (V60, Chemex, etc.)
- Experience in menu development and coffee sourcing preferred
- Certification (e.g., SCA - Specialty Coffee Association) is an advantage
- Strong leadership, training, and team management skills
- Passion for coffee craftsmanship and customer experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to operational needs
