Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our team in Helensvale. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Plan menus in consultation with the Head Chef

Oversee and participate in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of entrées, main courses, and desserts in accordance with set menus Determine cooking quantities and portion sizes, considering dietary requirements (medical, cultural, and personal preferences) Monitor stock levels, check deliveries, and liaise with suppliers regarding any discrepancies

Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local council regulations, including appropriate kitchen attire at all times Cooperate with statutory inspections and implement recommendations as required

Supervise kitchen staff during shifts Act as Head Chef in their absence Perform additional duties as required

Personal Requirements: Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and at least 12 months of relevant experience as a Chef

Ability to work independently as well as within a team Strong communication skills Willingness to follow direction
