Salary: $76,515 + Superannuation (Depending on experience and skills)
Employment Type: Full-time (38 HOURS/W)

Shiraz Persian Restaurant + Bar is a well-established Restaurant known for its exceptional Persian food and outstanding service. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards.

• Develop menus and create new recipes based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.

• Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and presentation.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Manage budget and finance, inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.

• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.

• Maintain high standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.

• Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
