The OpportunityWorking hours: Monday - Friday 5am - 2pm
Reporting to the Head Chef, the successful candidate will work as part of a small team providing meals to our on‑site employees, including breakfast, morning tea and lunch. The role will see you working Monday - Thursday 5am - 2pm. The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef with menu planning, ordering supplies, preparation and serving of meals. The candidate must have experience in a fast‑paced kitchen and be able to work efficiently and as part of a team.
We are looking for someone on a long term basis.
Your Skills and Experience- Experience with preparing and providing meals to large volumes of people.
- Ensure health and safety guidelines in the kitchen, including food preparation and servicing areas.
- Be able to work unsupervised and be self‑driven.
- Enjoy cooking.
- A high level of personal hygiene.
- Able to manage time and work under pressure.
- Good communication skills.
- Punctuality.
- Able to work well in a team.
- A can do attitude.
