About the role
As a Chef, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high‑quality catering services for a wide range of stakeholders. The work is varied — from bulk meal preparation through to high‑level catering.
Key responsibilities include:
Menu planning, food preparation, cooking and presentation
Preparing a broad range of meals, from large‑scale catering to formal dining
Managing dietary requirements and food standards
Ordering and managing stock within budget
Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
Monitoring wastage and conducting stock takes
Maintaining kitchen equipment and resources
Supporting the wider catering team as required
What you’ll need
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Experience working in a professional kitchen or catering environment
Willingness to cook a diverse range of meals and styles
Strong food safety, hygiene and organisational skills
Australian citizenship
Current driver’s licence
