Tiger Lane Canberra is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Full-Time Chef to join our team.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare meals for lunch and dinner, ensuring high-quality dishes and attractive presentation.

* Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all times.

* Prepare and ensure availability of mise en place as required.

* Implement stock control procedures, ensure proper rotation, and minimise wastage.

* Keep all working areas clean and equipment properly maintained and serviced.

* Report any issues to the Executive Chef promptly.

* Prepare and present menu items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.

* Ensure all food is stored and handled according to current food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

* Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)

* Previous experience as a Chef with expertise in Asian cuisine

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Strong teamwork and communication skills

* Knowledge of food safety standards
